“ Too greasy The carnitas were way too oily and heavy. The tortillas got soggy too fast. The flavors were okay but the grease overpowered everything. Not my favorite taco spot ”
“ Came to this older Backyard Taco - - I think this may be the original? We go to Backyard Taco all the time. The food is consistently good, and as time goes by they tweak their menu to make it friendlier for me and my family. They now have bowls, which are ginormous, and plates that include beans and rice. Of course they still have the Papa Loca, which is a baked potato topped with carne asada, chicken, or whatever you want. The salsa's on the salsa bar always delicious, and the price is right. What's not to love? ”
“ Our first time here. Had driven by previously and noticed all the patio lights and packed parking lot so thought we would give it a go. We didn't expect a fast food type of place but that is what this is. Service was great, the food was very good. It was in a Tuesday so they have a taco special plus a salsa bar that is unique. I love any type of guacamole but that isn't offered at this place. They did have some type of crema but didn't try it. If you are looking for a margarita or Mexican cerveza to accompany your meal this is not the place for you. For us it will be a lunch spot. ”
“ This place was poppin! Thought I'd give it a try, I ordered 3 carne asada tacos with double rice and a large horchata, I also ordered a Flan. They asked me if I wanted free grilled onions and jalapeños on the side and I said yes. Got my order, no jalapeños or onions. I could have asked for it but I passed, they have a mini bar with salsa and pickled onions and things like that, they are very good about keeping it replenished. I inhaled the tacos, the rice tasted really good as well. The Flan on the other hand was basically cheesecake. Very thick, same texture and taste as a cheesecake. It's not what I wanted, but I ate it all anyways. I'd come back if I need quick tacos. ”
“ This was my first time dining at Backyard Taco I stopped in on taco Tuesday to enjoy the Taco specials. It offered a small indoor dining area really nice patio dining both areas were clean. After talking to the cashier who was very helpful in recommending the birria taco. Which was an excellent choice OMG the birria taco was so good and flavorful. I enjoyed eating at Backyard Taco I'll be back. ”
“ The best taco in town so far. The only shortcoming is that they don't have fish taco. I tried Buenos Bowl (with steak) and it came with grilled onions & jalapeño (no charge). Had a great lunch at less than $15. All the sides are free and all you can eat. ”
“ Love backyard taco!!! Very quick and easy dinner option any night of the week. Their family meals will feed a young family of four for several meals and the app makes it so fast and easy. The parking lot is on two of the four sides of the corner spot building which is super nice for in and out quick access. ”
“ I enjoy a good grilled taco! Backyard has been a family favorite. Service is fast, dining room in mesa is limited seating. They do have a seated patio area as well. I enjoy the carne asada tacos as well as chicken. The salsa bar is clean and always stocked. ”
